Celebrating the Elements in Esquel
Bold and windblown and rain-drenched we headed for the beach on a wild autumnal day in Esquel! Rodrigo reminded me of my dad as he scrambled over the beach hunting down the perfect specimen of driftwood for some mysterious project in his mind.

Looking at these pictures really makes me miss being there. I wish I could come back and see everyone.
It also looks stupid cold which doesn't bring as much desire to visit.

We got hit with a brutal hail storm here in Kansas City Last night, almost like a bit of your winter here during our summer.

Kari, that last picture looks as if you took it from the dock at Lucerne on Lake Chelan. Can't you just picture getting off the boat getting ready to go up to Holden?
