Youth Group!

The family who hosted us in Obera -- clergy couple, Pastor Mariela and Pastor Clovis, their daughter Ingrid and Mariela{s sister Maribel.






We even got to hang out with the youth group of Congregacion Olaus Petri. The cozy connectedness of this group dynamic reminded me of my favorite youth group ever -- in the mid 1980s at LCOC in Dale City Virginia. (ah, Stacey, Brian, Michael, Wendy, Beth . . . Where are you now?!?!?) But we never sipped mate during our meetings. These kids are very committed to this group some of them walk 10 km each way to come to weekly youth group meetings!
